Laptop Fires Prompt Sony Battery Recall — Again
Sony has announced that they would recall 100,000 of new lithium-battery in HP, Dell, Toshiba, Lenovo and Acer laptop, that is practically in all the major laptop manufacturers. The reason is the sister-in-law 40 reported cases of overheating, which in some cases caused the appearance of smoke and flame.
Sony is two years ago also had a big problem with the batteries, according to a press release from the company, the batteries with the mistake came from the same place and time.
For now know that HP and Dell on their web site offering information on problematic series laptop and a free replacement. Lenovo also offers a free replacement, and Toshiba and Acer have not yet been officially released statement.
