Google Latitude
Today's work started with Google Latitude, service users, which allows mobile phone appropriate for your chosen contacts send information about your exact current location and that of others receiving information about their current location.
Latitude is designed as a site service for friends and family members, and possibly business contacts. The point is that users must interact to give each other consent to the exchange of location information to the radio service.
Latitude is part of Google Maps for Mobile is intended for performance on the phones, but can be run as a gadget to your iGoogle page. Uses Google technology to determine the position of a combination of data from GPS satellites and base stations from the ground.
Handles most Blackberry, most devices with Windows Mobile 5, the majority of devices with Symbian, and will soon come to the G1, iPhone and iPod touch. Service is now available in 27 countries. Official site here.
